Roadmap · Honest status

Today, the Mac.
Tomorrow, everywhere.

The Halo for Mac app is available today. The iPhone companion is in beta testing, the Apple Watch app and end-to-end encrypted sync are in development, and Vision Pro and Ray-Ban smart glasses are still being explored. Here's the honest status of each.

We're funding the rest of the roadmap with 5,000 Lifetime Licenses. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Plain-English status: the Mac app is the only product you can download today. The iPhone companion is in beta testing, and multi-device sync plus everything else below is still being built, listed here so you can see where Halo is headed before you decide to support it.

macOS 26+ · Apple Silicon

Halo for Mac

Available now

The only Halo that ships today. Lives in the notch, runs entirely on-device, and stays out of your way until you want it.

  • Ambient notch UI with on-device AI
  • Live, on-device transcription for calls and meetings
  • Memory store, journal, dossiers, mood (all local)
  • Cloud and custom-server modes are optional, off by default

iOS 26+

Halo for iPhone

In testing

Reach, on your phone. Text Halo from anywhere, and Halo reaches back the moment something needs you while you're away from the Mac. A live view of the conversation lives in the Dynamic Island. The whole app is open source.

  • Reach: text Halo, and it reaches back when you're away from the Mac
  • Time-sensitive nudges: a moved meeting, an overdue promise, a message that can't wait
  • Lives in the Dynamic Island and mirrors the Mac notch in real time
  • Multi-chat threads sync through your own iCloud, with no Halo server in the middle
  • Fully open source: read every line on GitHub and see exactly how your messages stay private

watchOS 26+

Halo for Apple Watch

In development

A thin Halo on your wrist. Glance at the latest nudge, raise your wrist to ask, and approve or deny what Halo wants to do, all without reaching for your phone.

  • Complication and Smart Stack card showing Halo's latest nudge or reply
  • Raise your wrist and dictate a question; the answer comes back on the same thread
  • One-tap approve or deny for anything Halo wants to do
  • Reads your iCloud directly, so it works even when your phone isn't nearby
In development · 2027 Funded by Lifetime

visionOS 26+

Halo for Vision Pro

Exploring

A persistent, peripheral Halo floating just out of sight. Glance up to summon it; speak to act.

  • Spatial Halo orb anchored to your environment
  • Hands-free voice control and dictation
  • Surfaces the right memory the moment you need it
  • Pulls people dossiers automatically when you meet someone

Meta Ray-Ban Display

Halo for Ray-Ban

Exploring

Audio-first Halo on smart glasses. Whispered context, ambient suggestions, and hands-free capture.

  • Voice-only interactions, audio-first feedback
  • Whispered reminders and context through the bone-conduction speaker
  • Take a memory, tag a person, set a reminder, all without your phone
  • Routes through your iPhone's Halo for compute and sync

Multi-device sync

Your Mac, your phone,
your everything.

This is the design for Halo's cross-device sync: end-to-end encrypted, with the keys living only on your devices and the server storing opaque ciphertext. It isn't built yet. Today your memories, journals, and dossiers stay fully local on a single Mac. The plan below is what your Lifetime License funds.

When sync ships, the Free tier stays fully local on a single device, forever. Sync is a Lifetime-tier feature.

  • AES-256-GCM at the application layer

Each device generates its own keypair. Plaintext never leaves your devices. The Cloudflare-backed relay sees encrypted bytes and metadata only.

  • Selective sync by domain

Memories, journals, dossiers, and project notes are each toggled independently. Audio transcripts and screen contents are never eligible for sync.

  • Conflict-free, offline-first

Edit anywhere, even offline. Halo merges changes when the device reconnects, with explicit conflict surfaces for the rare cases that need it.

  • Erase a device, leave the rest intact

Lose your phone? Revoke its key from any other device. Its slice of your data goes opaque immediately.

Limited · 5,000 ever

The Halo Lifetime License.

One payment. Forever. Every device Halo ever ships on (Mac today, iPhone, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, Ray-Ban, sync, and whatever comes next) is included.

We're only ever selling 5,000 of these. It's how we fund the roadmap without VC money, ads, or selling your data. When the counter hits 5,000, the door closes, and the earlier you claim, the less you pay.

The price climbs as it fills

  • First 1,000 · Founders $49
  • Next 2,000 $69
  • Final 2,000 $79

Free stays free, forever. The Mac app is fully featured without a license.
