One shortcut, any call
Record Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack huddles, Discord, or FaceTime with one shortcut. Set each app to Off, Ask, or Always, and keep a never-record list for calls that should stay off the record.
Transcribed and labeled on your Mac
When the call ends, every word is written down and labeled by speaker. Rename a speaker once and your past transcripts update too, and the whole library is searchable.
A summary the moment you hang up
Prep beforehand shows who's there and what you promised last time. Afterwards you get a summary, the action items, and what everyone committed to, filed into memory for later.

Recordings and transcription happen on your Mac. A recording you start is saved as a local file and kept for 30 days by default, then auto-deleted. You can change that window, keep transcript-only, or delete any recording yourself. Nothing is ever uploaded, so your meetings stay between the people who were in them.

Does Halo send my meeting audio to the cloud?
No. Recording and transcription happen on your Mac. The recording is saved locally and never uploaded, which is the main difference from cloud meeting recorders.
Does Halo keep the audio, and for how long?
By default a recording you start is kept on your Mac for 30 days, then auto-deleted. You can change that window, switch to transcript-only so no audio is written, or delete any recording yourself.
Which apps can it record?
Any call app on your Mac, including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, Discord, and FaceTime. You control which apps record and when.
Can it tell speakers apart?
Yes. Halo separates voices and labels the transcript by speaker. Rename someone once and it updates across your library.
