System requirements
- Apple Silicon: M1 or later (Intel Macs aren't supported)
- macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later
- ~7.5 GB free disk for the on-device model
- 16 GB unified memory recommended (8 GB runs, but tight)
Halo runs its AI entirely on your Mac, so it needs an Apple Silicon chip and macOS 26.
Verify the signature
In Terminal, run:
codesign --verify --deep --strict --verbose=2 /Applications/HeyHalo.app
Should print "satisfies its Designated Requirement".
