Apple Reminders
Local Apple appsSay "remind me to…" and it's real, on every device.
Say "remind me to call the dentist at 4" and Halo creates a real reminder through macOS, so it rings on your iPhone and your watch too, via iCloud, not just inside Halo.
Timers, one-off reminders, and recurring ones ("every Monday at 9") all work, and you can list, snooze, or cancel them by voice or chat.
Capabilities
What Halo does with it
- Turns "remind me to…" into a real reminder, synced to your other devices by iCloud
- Sets timers and one-off reminders
- Handles recurring reminders like "every Monday at 9"
- Lists, snoozes, and cancels reminders by voice or chat
How it connects
Built into your Mac.
- 01
Nothing to sign in to
Halo works with Apple Reminders through the same built-in macOS capabilities Apple's own apps use. There's no account to connect and no key to store.
- 02
macOS asks first
The first time Halo needs access, macOS shows its own permission prompt. You decide, and you can revoke it any time in System Settings.
- 03
Nothing leaves your Mac
Reading, writing, and understanding all happen on your device. There is no server involved, not even ours.
What stays private
Reminders are created on-device through macOS's own framework. Halo's servers are never involved. Syncing to your other devices is iCloud doing what it always does.
