Notion

Premium OAuth Productivity

Find pages or create pages, straight from a conversation.

Ask Halo "where are the Q3 planning notes?" and it searches the pages you've shared with it. Ask it to "put that in Notion" after a meeting and it creates a page (notes, summaries, drafts) under a parent you choose.

You decide which pages Halo can see during Notion's own consent screen. Anything you don't share stays invisible to it.

Premium

A paid capability, part of a Halo plan. The free Mac app stays fully featured on its own.

What Halo does with it

With a Halo plan

  • Searches the pages you've shared with Halo, from chat or voice
  • Creates new pages (meeting notes, summaries, drafts) where you choose
  • Can search first, then create, in one request

How it connects

You authorize. Your Mac holds the key.

  1. 01

You authorize once, in your browser

Halo opens Notion's own sign-in page. You approve exactly what Halo is allowed to do, nothing more.

  2. 02

The key goes straight to your Mac

The access key is handed to the Halo app and stored in the macOS Keychain, encrypted on your device. It never sits in a browser tab.

  3. 03

Your Mac talks to Notion directly

Every request goes from your Mac to Notion. Halo's servers never sit in the middle. They never see your messages or your content.

What stays private

Your Notion key lives in the macOS Keychain, and Halo only sees the pages you explicitly shared on Notion's consent screen. Page content is composed on your Mac and sent to Notion directly.
